This tour starts in Launceston and finishes in Hobart. 5 Days and 4 Nights Camping / Safari Camp and Walking TourIn five adventurous days, we visit some amazing cool temperate rainforests, wonderful waterfalls and world class beaches. Starting from Launceston we make our way to the Bay of Fires to explore the stunning scenery
A full day is reserved for exploring Freycinet Peninsula’s longer walks where we’ll climb up through the Hazards to view magical Wineglass Bay or walk the whole circuit. Moving on further south for our last night's camping we will show you the Tasman Peninsula’s giant sea cliffs and many natural wonders along the way

Each day we participate in bush walks from 3 - 5 hours and travel by mini van or four-wheel-drive . We have exciting private camps that feature beds in large luxury tents or cabins. Day 1 (L,D) Launceston to Bay of Fires Bush Camp – Safari Camp
Leave Launceston approx 8.00am for the Bay of Fires to explore the rich cultural heritage of the traditional owners in a tranquil setting and some amazing waterfalls set amongst relic cool temperate rainforest. The afternoon offers some of the famous white sand beaches. Tonight we stay in a private bush camp on the edge of the Bay of Fires
Day 2 (B,L,D) Freycinet Peninsula – Cabin Camp
We will drive down the scenic east coast on dazzling turquoise waters and white sands exploring as we go. We move to a camp with stunning bay views for our next 2 nights

Day 3 (B,L,D) freycinet Peninsula – Cabin Camp
As we are camped right on the edge of Freycinet National Park it's only a short car journey for a memorable day walks with outstanding views as we experience the Wineglass Bay - Hazards beach loop and enjoy a healthy lunch on the beach before completing the loop track. In the evening enjoy the spectacular views from our campsite before we dine by the fire.
Day 4 (B,L,D) Freycinet peninsula to Tasman peninsula - Safari Camp
With an early start, we will enjoy the scenic drive down the East Coast and make our way to the Tasman Peninsula, home to towering sea cliffs, secluded bays and an abundant sea life. A walk to one of the many stunning capes in the region before our last camp at Eagle Hawk Neck
DAY 5 (B,L) Tasman Peninsula to Hobart (Concludes approx 5pm)
For the adventurous, we have partnered with local operators to offer a sea cruise with a difference. The small group tour will showcase the dramatic sea scape of the peninsula and the marine inhabitants. If the conditions are right you may get close to the local seal colony on a unique floating platform, an amazing experience.
An alternate option is the Mt Brown / Remarkable cave walks that takes you up close the unique geology of the area finishing with a stunning vista over Maningon Bay. After the morning activities, we check out some impressive geology attractions before we make our way back to Hobart
It is possible to conclude your tour at Port Arthur if you wish to spend more time to explore the World Heritage listed site

What's included
All inclusive small group guided 5 Day active camping and walking tour exploring the Central Highlands and West Coast of Tasmania. We encourage participation in duties around the camp like cooking and clean up from meals as we find this makes a great sense of team
All food from lunch day 1 to lunch to day 5 included. Snacks and small amounts of alcohol are permitted or can be brought along the way. Transport, parks passes; camping and cooking equipment is provided. Sleeping bags and rain jackets available for hire
